A planning application has been lodged for a supermarket and other retail outlets. Enjoy a stroll along the beach or have a BBQ on the foreshore overlooking the bay. Drop a fishing line off the jetty or launch a small boat off the boat ramp.

Two local parks offer playground equipment and sporting facilities. A drive up through the hills will take you to the panoramic views of Westernport Bay and stunning hinterland. There are wineries to explore as well as farm gate experiences offering strawberry picking, fresh produce and handcrafted cheeses. Visit the local animal park and have a meal at one of several restaurants in the area. The Gurdies and Grantville Nature Conservation Reserves are both also worth a visit offering several bushwalking tracks.
