The Great Witch Hunt

October 2023

This event is hosted in October each year to align with Halloween. Witches are displayed at participating businesses right across the Bass Coast Shire where you can join in the fun of hunting for and identifying them to go in a draw to win great prizes. See here for more information.

From the 25th of November 2023 to the 24th of December 2023 (inclusive), simply make a purchase/deposit of $10.00 or more in one transaction (excluding alcohol and cigarettes), from a GBCA Business.
Record you name and phone number on your receipt and place it into the ‘Competition Box’ at Endeavour Petroleum, 1514 Bass Highway, Grantville or take a photo of your receipt (include your contact details) and submit it via our email at
You are now in the draw to win one of 3 Vouchers. A $300.00 Voucher, a $150.00 Voucher, and a $50.00 Voucher. These vouchers can be used at any GBCA Business. See our Facebook Page for a list of the GBCA Members. The winners will be drawn and notified on Friday 29th December 2023.

Grantville Christmas Carols

Sunday 10th Dec 5pm onwards

We invite everyone to join us at this years Christmas Carols to be held at the Grantville Hall & Reserve. (**Note the change of venue from previous years when it has been at the Memorial Park on the corner)
From 5pm onwards browse the market and business stalls whilst the kids enjoy FREE facepainting, the jumping castle and animal nursery display.
From 6pm onwards we will be entertained by the renowned local vocal group 'Sisters & Misters' of over 30 local singers. The Sisters & Misters have performed on Australia's Got Talent in the past and will be singing traditional carols that everyone can sing along to as well as other songs.
Santa is expected shortly after 8pm to the delight of the children.
A BBQ and food and drink stalls and trucks will be available on the night.
BYO picnic blanket and chairs to sit outdoors on the grass and enjoy the music.
