The Great Witch Hunt Event is back again for 2026
And now it's FREE to enter!
There are over $2000 worth of prizes to be won in the main draw including two nights accommodation for a family of four at Ramada Resort in Cowes plus vouchers to many great local attractions and to go see the penguins.
Hunt for the 53 witches that are on display at businesses throughout the Bass Coast region and find their unique identification number to note down on your map. Follow our event Facebook page @GreatWitchHunt and you will see another 5 witch numbers posted on that page to make a total of 58 witches. Once you have completed your map, return it for a chance to win!
How to participate?
- Get your 'ticket to hunt' and map by either downloading it from this website here:
OR Collect a printed version from the Phillip Island or Inverloch Bass Coast Information Centres, Artspace Gallery and information centre in Wonthaggi or Maru Koala and Animal Park in Grantville.
- Follow the map to find the witches and note down their unique individual identification numbers on the map.
- You must find at least 10x witches across 3 different towns to enter.
- If you keep going and identify all 58 witches, you automatically win a 1hr games arcade voucher for Phillip Island Ten Pin Bowling.
- Scan or photograph your completed ticket to hunt map and return it via email to GreatWitchHuntEvent@gmail.com OR hand in your hard copy completed map to the Phillip Island or Inverloch information centres.
