The Great Witch Hunt Event is back again for 2026!

There are over $2000 worth of prizes to be won in the main draw including two nights accommodation for a family of four at Ramada Resort in Cowes plus vouchers to many great local attractions.

Hunt for up to 80 witches that will be on display at businesses throughout the Bass Coast Shire region and find their unique identification number to note down on your map. Once you have completed your map, return it for a chance to win.

This year we also have a BONUS EARLY BIRD DRAW

Purchase a $5 ticket by the 13th September and you will automatically go into the Early Bird Draw where one person randomly drawn will win $500 in cash. Then use your ticket and map to hunt for the witches and enter the main draw.

How to participate

  1. Pay for your ticket via this link: https://www.trybooking.com/1636427
  2. The map and 'ticket to hunt' you will need to find the witches will be available here from this website at the end of September, once all of the participating businesses have been identified.
  3. Download and print the map, or 'ticket to hunt'.
  4. Be sure to write your trybooking ticket number on the map as this is your entry form and is only valid with a trybooking ticket number.
  5. Enjoy exploring Bass Coast as you hunt for the witches and note down their identification numbers.
  6. You must find at least 10 witches in at least 3 different towns to enable you to enter.
  7. Keep going and find ALL of the witches for a chance at even more prizes.
  8. Scan or photograph your complete ticket to hunt map and return it via email to GreatWitchHuntEvent@gmail.com, or hand in your hard copy at the Phillip Island or Inverloch information centres.
